[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You know that old saying, “actions speak louder than words,” well I’m here to tell you that is 100% true! I’ve come to find that in an industry that is based upon playing with words, you will run into many who can talk a beautiful game but cannot deliver. It’s been a hard lesson to learn, but the truth of the matter is that the only testament of what someone REALLY can do is based on what they deliver. In order to test this out, ask yourself, “does what they say match what they do?” If it does, great; if it does not, it’s time to move onward. You see, in an industry where many can name drop, show you things they have been a part of, make you feel like you’re a rockstar, etc. it can be hard to not fall into this game, but don’t let the talk fool you. So what do you do in order to not to fall into this trap? My advice is, go into every meeting open minded, listen to one another, and create a nice plan. Post meeting, first and foremost, listen to your gut. From here, if you feel good about everything, move forward with the project. If within the first few meetings things are not rolling (projects are not being done as directed or deadlines are not being met), then do yourself a favor and walk away sooner rather than later. Also, as a disclaimer, keep in mind each project is different and in the creation process things change so you must be open to this as well. But if time and time again, needs/deadlines are not met and the words do not match the actions, MOVE ON![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
