July 4th is normally a busy weekend, but for the Studio it wasn’t just busy, it was jam-packed with events!  Between two shows at the Cars of Summer and the Newton 4th of July Celebration, there was nonstop entertainment!  Check out the highlights below!

July 3rd was an absolutely gorgeous day, and the Cars of Summer Show was the perfect way to kick off the Holiday weekend!   With a stellar line up of artists ready to perform, you couldn’t ask for anything more!

To start things off, Melanie Mulrain did an acoustic version of “Wagon Wheel” and finished rock solid with Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl.”  Next up, Abby Hennigan hit the stage with Ukulele in hand and broke out the radio hits “Bright” and “Riptide,” ending with the classic song “Bennie and the Jets” which got everyone singing along (See live performance below).  Following Abby’s performance, eleven year old Adessa Rivera blew the audience away with her version of “Let It Go!”  Gail Fabbri broke out the looper and guitar for her performance and nailed Adele’s “Rumor Has It.”  Gail’s looper skills were quite a treat for the audience!  Nikki Alexander preformed the radio smash hit “Fire and Gold” which showcased her powerhouse vocals.  Our sixth performer, Kassie Sakhat (who at only thirteen years old comes off as a seasoned pro) mixed the new with the old in her performance of “Valerie” and “Elastic Heart.”  Bringing the show to a close, Ciara Cargiulo nailed songs by Christina Aguilera and Jessie J, two of today’s top vocalists, ending the show on a sweet note!  You can view photos and videos below!

Although the weather July 4th wasn’t as nice, Herman Jones and Adessa Rivera brought their A game to the Newton 4th of July Celebration!  Herman’s old school charm and smooth vocals were a hit!  And Adessa’s dynamic performance skills and strong vocals had the audience wanting more!  Additionally, friend of the studio April Forrest showcased her latest original hits and put on a show worthy of the bright lights.

To finish the weekend off, we went back to the Cars of Summer Show with another great line up of artists.  In her first appearance on stage with the studio, Kate Carpenter began the show with Tayler Swift’s hit song “Red,” showing off her gritty voice.  Gail Fabbri kept the ball rolling with her sultry voice, showcasing her multiple skills with the guitar, ukulele and looper.  Next, John Dates preformed a set full of sultry vocals, including “Let It Go” by Passenger.  Plus, he performed the National Anthem and nailed it!  Ciara Cargiulo, whose high energy and killer vocals left the crowd wanting more, wrapped up the day’s performances!   Check out the videos and pictures below:
