For the past 18 months, Patrice Peris Voice Studios has been apart of local rising talent Aarshiya Sachdeva’s journey to her dreams! Since the tender age of 5, Aarshiya recalls taking her voice seriously. Beginning her journey with Indian classical voice lessons, to annually being involved with her high school musical’s and choir, most recently she dove into the world of performance and solo artistry. With influences such as Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, and H.E.R., one can describe her style as R&B influenced pop.
“I have really enjoyed coming here for lessons. My favorite part would be the opportunities that it offers, and because of these open mics and gigs, I have been able to tremendously grow my confidence with singing and performing in public. I believe that the program has helped me to put myself out there more” Aarshiya says in regards to the studio, “Patrice has always encouraged me to find gigs of my own and take advantage of any possible opportunities I can find.”
Aarshiya’s favorite part of performing is “her ability to connect with the audience” she says, “It is a great feeling when you know that they are able to feel what you are feeling as you are singing a song.” To date, Aarshiya has been able to connect with audiences and individuals while performing all around New England at various venues including: El Basha Restaurant, Faneuil Hall, Wachusett Mountain Kidsfest, Northborough Holiday Trolley, Westborough Festival, Everything Local at Worcester PopUp, and Serendipity Cafe and that is only to name a few!
Aarshiya’s hopes for the future are to continue growing with her vocal and performance skills, along with branching out into the world of writing and recording. We are so excited to be apart of her journey and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Aarshiya!
