Boston/MA – Singer/Songwriter, Whitney Doucet is at it again with her newest single, Lyin’! Following her previous single, Long Road, which was placed on the official Grammy ballot for Best Country Song, Lyin’  expresses how sometimes we can all experience struggles and low moments in our lives. 

When discussing the inspiration behind the song, Whitney says, “Lyin’ is about getting caught up in a relationship that you know you don’t want.

This amazing accomplishment did not come to Whitney by a stroke of luck. She has spent countless hours perfecting her craft and building her resume. When asked about her journey to this point, she responded, “I’ve been performing, in a band, or doing national anthems for over ten years! That’s 3,650 days of singing, taking voice lessons, singing more, writing songs, performing, preparing for a performance, memorizing lyrics, doing hair and makeup, writing emails, booking gigs, driving to gigs, band rehearsals, winning, losing, and a whole lot of sweat and tears.

In this three-hour interactive class, actors and singers will be diving into the world of musical theater through a song or monologue.
