As we finished up the first month of the new year, we spent some time reflecting on the past one. We are proud and pleased to share all the successes from both the studio and our artists! We had over 50 student performances, including 7 open mics at Worcester’s own NU Café, as well as 10 street Performances at Faneuil Hall! Additionally, 2018 was filled with music releases. We had 15+ single/cover releases from studio artists!
We are pleased to introduce Patrice Peris Vocal Studios’ newest Vocal Coach, Taylor O’Connor! Not only is Taylor highly trained, having studied at Berklee College of Music, but she is very experienced in vocals, performance and songwriting. In addition to her studies, she is fully dialed into the New England music scene, performing both original and cover material as a solo acoustic act at venues such as: The Yotel in Boston, upstairs at The Middle East in Cambridge and The Hanover theatre in Worcester just to name a few.
With the new year we have highly anticipated new music from Patrice Peris! Off the heels of success with Peris’ last release “Take Me Home,” an emotional ballad that received rave reviews, Peris decided to start off the new year with something uptempo and fierce.
Though the tropical house beat will make many listeners want to dance, if you take a moment to analyze the lyrics, they paint a different tune.
Boston, MA – Singer/Songwriter Renee Lamy is thrilled to announce the release of her latest single, “Losing Game” available on all music streaming platforms.
“Losing Game,” a pop soul song with elements of blues is reminiscent of Julia Michaels’ style and is Renee’s second original release with more anticipated to come this year. When talking about her latest single, Renee says, “writing this song was very therepeutic for me. I think in life, you are going to encounter all types of people, some will add positivity and some will do the opposite.
Experienced in performing the National Anthem for major sporting events, WhitneyDoucet has quite an impressive resume. From wowing RedSox fans at Fenway Park, to leaving New England Patriot fans at Gillette Stadium speechless, Whitney is fully prepared to return to Boston’s TD Garden and pay her tribute to America with Bruins fans!
Patrice Peris Voice Studio artist Marissa Blaire describes herself as having a multi-faceted music personality. Her sound is a blend of Pop, R&B and Gospel so it comes as no surprise that her musical idols include Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, and Alessia Cara. That said, her musical influences go back much further than that. In fact, Marissa’s musical passion started at home “My family has always liked to create music whenever we get the chance to spend time together.”

Describing her own style as “sporadic” studio artist Hayden is a jack of all trades. Singing and performing for as long as she can remember, Hayden is always on the move with her music career. Whether it be in school musicals, open mics at the NU Cafe, street performing in Faneuil Hall, or performing at fairs and festivals all around New England, Hayden steals the attention of the crowd every time. However, most recently Hayden has dove into the world of recording.
Ok, I get it you want to sing in the same key as the original artist because if you do that speaks to your talent. Some how if we can sing the same notes as they did, even if they don’t sound as good, it will mean we are at the same level as that artist. Trust me I have been there and I completely understand! The issue is that song was written for THAT persons voice not OUR voice. And yes sometimes it works out that we can sing in the same key and it fits but other times it just doesn’t!
