Electric violinist Kristina Danga performed Sunday night with music icon Eminem at Boston Calling Music Festival!
A Worcester MA native, Kristina Danga, has been fearlessly working to pave her way in the music industry. Proving that hard work and dedication pay off, she was recently scouted to perform with music icon Eminem as part of the prestigious ‘String Candy’ at this past weekends Boston Calling Music Festival. String Candy musicians are graduates of some of the most reputable music schools and conservatories, including The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, The Royal Academy of Music and more.
When talking about her experience Kristina says, “It was truly a surreal moment in my career. As an artist you spend so much time and energy preparing for moments like this, sometimes with no idea of when or how they will come, so to be able to perform with an icon such as Eminem and so many other extremely talented musicians was an experience of a lifetime.”
In addition to pursuing a full-time career in music, Kristina works as a full-time research scientist at Harvard Medical. When asked how she manages to balance such vastly contrasting fields she says, “persistence and passion are key to accomplishing anything in life. I continuously surround myself with people on the same course and energy level as me. Most importantly, I focus on my goals, regardless any obstacles that try to distort my path.”
Kristina is currently working on collaborative projects with Boston based singer Patrice Peris, along with producers from New York, Boston, LA, and Turkey. In addition to booking shows for the upcoming months, she is also working on her summer EP with Jonah Bencal of Surefire Creative Studios.
