One thing that many artists struggle with is discovering themselves. It is so important to be able to know who you are as a musician and to be able to develop your style. This is something that studio artist, Emalie Kurko, has been doing with ease since she first stepped into the studio.
Emalie has loved to sing since she can remember and credits her musical style inspiration to country superstar, Kelsea Ballerini. A performer herself, Emalie remembers performing at The Nu Kitchen in Worcester as one of her favorite performance moments to date.
When speaking about her time at the studio, Emalie said, “My experience at the studio has been fun and amazing. I feel that the program has helped me as an artist by singing and becoming a performer in the future.”
As one of studio owner, Patrice Peris’s first students, she has loved watching Emalie grow as an artist. “Something I really love about what Emalie has been able to do throughout the years is really understand her style and her voice. Her song choices are so spot-on and perfect for her as an artist. That skill can take people a long time to develop and truly understand but Emalie has always done a great job with that.”
This young country artist has big plans for new music in the future! Emalie is looking forward to getting into the recording booth soon and we cannot wait to hear the music that comes out of it! Stay tuned!
