Featured Artist of the Month: Marley Morini

A skilled songwriter, talented guitarist, and killer vocalist, studio artist Marley Morini really can do it all!  We have had the pleasure of working with Marley for about two years. When talking about the studio, Marley says, “Not only has my voice improved since starting at Patrice Peris Voice Studios, but I have begun to figure out what songs work best with my voice, and thanks to the studio’s online classes, really developed my songwriting skills.” 

Though Marley has been with the studio for only a few years, her musical journey began long before then. “When I was nine I began playing guitar but I didn’t start my performance journey as a singer until I was eleven when I auditioned for my school’s musical. By the time I was twelve I was learning songs to sing along to on my guitar. Since then I have been in various musicals at my school and in summer camps, I have played at countless open mics, qualified for Central MA Junior Districts, sang the national anthem at a state sporting event, and even had the privilege to sing on a trolley ride through Northborough representing the studio.” 

The singer/songwriter says that she is still learning about her own personal style as an artist and continues to grow. Her musical inspirations include Fransisco Martin, LANCO, Johnny West, and Dan+Shay. She tends to gravitate towards the styles of country, soft pop, and singer/songwriter music. 

We can’t wait to see Marley continue to grow as an artist and we still have our fingers crossed for some original music soon… we’ll see! Be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming studio performances where you can see Marley perform!
