New Year, New Me?
Have you been hearing this for the past month? I know I have, but is it really true? Â
For me, it can be seen in two ways. First, if you are truly evolving as a person then yes it is in a sense you are a “new you” as time goes on. On the other hand, one could argue that it is not a new you just an enhanced version.
The argument could potentially go on and on with both parties not winning or budging in their perspectives and in essence, both are right. However what I would say is this: whatever you believe, make sure as you enter the New Year and take a moment to analyze your life and make sure you are not regressing from your goals or ideal scene but in all actually progressing to them. This can be done in leaps and bounds or small steps but staying consistent will be the key. At the end of the day, nothing plateaus for long. It will either move in the direction of progressing or regressing.
One thing you can do when you feel like you are in the same place is to take a moment to evaluate how you feel and also take a glance at your goals. Are they still servicing you and those you wish to serve? Have you reached your big goal and now don’t know what to do? Be honest and if you are stuck be sure to find those around you who can help to “unstick” you. Â
So, here is to a year of progression and health!
