Studio artist Herman Jones has been active since the very start at Patrice Peris Voice Studios. With his roots deep in Soul and R&B music, Herman is always stealing the crowd’s attention and a truly unforgettable act. Maybe it comes from his years of experience in the music industry, or his ability to turn moments of hardship positive, either way he is the definition of cool, calm, and collected.
Recalling his childhood Herman says, “Growing up in the 70’s was a time of great rhythm and lyrics, you had artist like Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder breaking out onto the scene. To this day they remain some of my greatest inspirations” Jones says, “I can recall leaving school and either heading out to the basketball court and listening to music on the jukebox or going out with the crew singing on the corner. Those were some unforgettable times.”
Though he always had a passion and love for music, it wasn’t until six years ago that Jones decided to turn his passion into a profession. Since then, he has performed at places such as Faneiul Hall, NU Cafe, and Spirit of Shrewsbury. He has also recorded numerous songs including two of his favorites, “I’ll Be Around” and most recent release “Sunny.”
