With a classic Old Hollywood sense of style and sultry vocals, day-one studio artist Raven Rose can stand out in any crowd! Although she has always been a singer, it is more recently that Raven has stepped up her game into the world of artistry. “My mother tells me that I was singing before I could talk” Raven says, “I don’t remember ever loving anything else as much as I love to sing.”
When asked about her experience at the studio Raven says, “My experience at the studio has been overwhelmingly positive. I’ve been working with Patrice for the last few years and I can honestly say that she’s amazing and has helped me grow exponentially as an artist…She’s taught me how to do things like manage a social media page and how to book a gig, and the importance of things like business cards and EPKs.” Inspired by bands such as Postmodern Jukebox and singers like Caro Emerald, Lana Del Rey, and Patsy Cline, Raven has developed her own unique Jazz/Swing style. Using her talents both solo and with a full band, Raven has performed at verious New England venues including, Met Nightclub in Providence, The Dublin Rose Irish Sports Bar in Seekonk, The Walker Cares Black-Tie Gala in Boston, Danny Sullivan’s in Framingham, the Spirit of Shrewsbury Festival, The Nu Kitchen in Worcester, and The Bull Run in Shirley to name a few.
Raven’s hopes for the future are to put together her own band and begin performing regularly in the Boston and Worcester area. Already, Raven has began the recording process with Ryley Music Productions and has a few surprises to be expected soon! That being said, we are so excited to be apart of her journey and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Raven!
