Coming at you with another songwriting tip, this time from superstar, Billie Eilish!
Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas have written tons of songs together and are the writers and producer behind her two No. 1 albums! When it comes to the methods they use to come up with song ideas, Billie shared the following.
“Me and my brother, sometimes we’ll sit down and be like, ‘let’s think about someone and then think that they’re seeing, what are they thinking, what are they thinking about doing?’ and it’s like, I don’t know, I feel like it’s just really opened my eyes especially. I’ve done it with people I know, I’ve done it with people I’ve hurt, I’ve done it with people that don’t exist. It’s a fantasy world, and I feel like the cool part about music is that you can tell the truth, 100%, nothing but the truth or you can completely lie.”
