On the heels of the new decade, the saying, “out with the old and in with the new” is something you can hear frequently spoken and it appears Patrice Peris is taking that phrase to a whole new level with her latest release, “Born a Survivor.” Not in her normal style, Peris is tackling a new field and taking on the cinematic world of music and we are loving it!

. When speaking of the new song Peris says, “I think many artist have multiple sides to them and we are in a time where genre crossing is becoming more and more popular. Though I am not blending multiple styles, I am changing things up for my normal brand. I have been working with a group of artist from around the world in a course I am taking and when I meet Michalis F of Audiostation and he showed me his work I knew I wanted to team up with him on this project. I have always loved dramatic songs with big builds and tons of emotion so this feels just feels right at home. With the new year and new decade it seemed only appropriate to start the year off with something different.”
With this just being the start of what will be a series of songs for this duo, we can’t wait to see what is next! But for now, we are thrilled to have this to listen to.
