The Problem Trying to find Success with just One Path

The truth is, success knows many paths and there really is no one-size-fits-all. Just like that amazing sweater, they proclaim will fit anyone, the harsh truth is, yes, maybe it can fit most BUT it will look very different on everyone. 

So if this is the case why are so many looking for that hidden one-size-fits-all path?  Maybe it’s fear or maybe it’s not wanting to confront the new path that is more rough and unknown. Maybe it’s that there is so much information and so many people saying ‘follow me, I have found the one path to success!’  Whatever it may be if there is one thing I have observed and had to come to terms with for my own self and that is there are many paths I need to try and take before I find the one that best fits me.   

In this process, I will experience some paths that don’t work out but I can learn from it and at the very least shift gears and switch lanes. Looking back, it is interesting, the paths I thought were a straight shot now in hindsight I realize were a learning moment or a moment to get off at the exit and find a new road. I say this to encourage anyone who is closing their eyes to possible paths that could lead to success out of fear of what will happen when you leave the trodden path. It may lead to the destination you have been seeking for a long time. Many paths can be connected and it may be necessary to stay the course but also take that turn once in a while.  

So here is to treading more paths and exploring the unknown!
